Some of our Reviews:
Caroline:A great house set in a market garden. Beautiful setting. Fire lit on arrival and greeted by family dog was special. This is a four seasons in one place location.
Alison: A beautiful house and a very warm and friendly reception. Janet was always available if we needed something or just wanted to chat. The location of the farm is excellent (a short walk or drive into town), the fresh produce from the farm was very good and inexpensive. The house was really well-equipped and homey, even down to a large stock of baking supplies! The town itself is also interesting to look around with a great local craft shop, other shops, some good cafes and a tiny but very helpful visitor information centre. The surrounding area has options both for people who prefer outdoor activities and those who would be happier in bookshops, galleries or cafes, as well as lots of variety in between. An unexpected highlight would have to be going to the nearby Galba Forge to watch the blacksmith make amazing decorative metalwork. Possibly not a great choice for asthmatics to stay in winter as most of the houses in town seem to have wood fires, but that's a minor drawback to an otherwise lovely destination and a delightful holiday!
Monica: Janet's house was an absolute dream. As soon as you step on to the farm, there is such a relaxing feel. The house was beautiful, full of indoor plants, and a warm 70's feel. Everything was spotless, and it had every possible utensil/appliance needed. The fireplace was the cherry on top! I highly recommend staying here, and can't wait to come back.
Tiffiany: Beautiful house with very friendly dogs. Janet was so lovely that she started the fireplace prior to our arrival. The house was cosy and we had everything that we need. We would definitely visit the house again!
Christine: Janet's house was wonderful, comfortable and well equipped with cooking appliances. Janet was very friendly and helpful to accommodate our large family.
Lucinda: Charming farm stay with a beautiful garden. Set among spectacular rolling hills inland from the south coast. Great place to stay with friends.
Phillip: Loved the quiet rural village a short walk away, and the lovely seaside town of Bermagui. Just a perfect location, and what a lovely flowery garden setting Janet and her helpers have created. We stayed in the studio room and loved its country cedar cottage type charm.
Jos: Not knowing what to expect Cabargo is a special place... the hotel serves fantastic food, the village is charming, the locals friendly but best of all is Janet’s. Accommodating our changing arrival time, a friendly greeting when we finally arrived, it couldn’t have been better. We stayed in the studio which was clean and well presented and had plenty of room for 3 adults. I loved wandering the grounds and discovering the hidden gardens and wish I’d had more time.
John: Great location and the grounds of the market garden are amazing. Short stroll to local shops was perfect to explore the surroundings
Sascha: A beautiful quiet spot. Birds chirping, beautiful gardens with amazing flowers to stroll through. A short drive to the beach. The perfect getaway.
Kurshill: Great place. Loved the garden and the place. Really enjoyed the night we spent here.
